The Tenterfield Golf Club will host its 2023 Veterans week of golf from the 9th of October to 13th October

An overview of the program:

  • Sunday 8h October:  
    Registration/Happy Hour with complementary snacks.

  • Monday 9th October:
    Single Stableford for Ladies and Men.

NSWVGA shield event Single stableford two rounds Tuesday and Thursday
The individual stableford scores for Tuesday and Thursday will determine the male and female winners.

General guidelines from the Tenterfield Veterans Committee

 

Entries: Nomination forms can be downloaded from the Club website www.tenterfieldgolfclub.com.au

The field will be limited to 168 players each day.

Entries will close on 25/09/2022. A preliminary draw will be available on the club website on the 02/10/2022.

Eligibility:this event is run under the auspices of the NSWVGA therefor all entrants must be a financial member of NSW Veterans Golfers Association and hold a GA handicap. Tenterfield Veterans Association will arrange Interstate players membership to NSWVGA if they are a member of a registered  golf club and have a GA handicap. All players participating must be 55 years of age or over at the commencement of this event.

Handicaps: The maximum handicap for men is 36 and ladies 45.

Handicaps will be adjusted daily other than for the 36 Hole 4BBB mixed stableford which will be fixed at the first round of the event.

Divisions: The field will be divided into divisions where appropriate for the awarding of prizes. The Tournament Director will decide the GA handicap limits for each division.

A player may play in a different division in each event depending on the daily handicap adjustments by Golf Link.

Rules: The ‘Terms of the Competition’ will be displayed in the Clubhouse and will be available on request. The local rules will also be displayed in the Clubhouse.

Prizes: All prizes for the events will be provided by the Tenterfield Veteran’s Association except for the NSWVGA Shield event for which the prize is donated by NSWVGA. A player can win only one trophy in any event

Start Times: Start times will be from 7.30am to 1.00pm (EST)

Refunds: No refunds will be made after 02/10/2022 other than at the discretion of the Tournament Director. Refunds arising from wet weather events and Covid-19 restrictions are defined in the ‘Terms of the Competition”.

Golf Carts: Motorised Golf Carts will be available for $20.00/person/game. However, there is a limited number, and you will be required to share a cart.

Raffle Prizes: Unclaimed raffle prizes will be disposed of six weeks after the competition at the discretion of the Veteran Golfers Committee.
